How to be seen on DemocratandChronicle.com

The Democrat and Chronicle is excited about providing coverage to this year's FIRST Robotics Competition. But the newspaper needs your help. They want to maximize exposure for FIRST at DemocratandChronicle.com by using your submitted photos. They would like to spotlight your photos from practice sessions, meetings, the pits, and of course, the competition.

The Democrat and Chronicle has a photo gallery featured prominently on its homepage (upper right-hand side). An area as been reserved for FIRST photos and captions. Note: The Democrat and Chronicle does not guarantee publication of specific photos on the Web or in the newspaper.

Here are our general instructions on how to upload your photos to the Web site:

Because of the volume of photos being submitted, the Democrat and Chronicle no longer accepts e-mailed photos. However, it's easy to upload digital photos:

Go to www.DemocratandChronicle.com
Click on "Submit photos here"" underneath "Your photos" at the right side of the home page.
Click on the category labeled "FIRST Robotics Photos." Note: The FIRST Robotics category may not appear on the home page until many photos populate the site. If this occurs, click on another category (e.g. community or high school sports), look for "main menu" and search for FIRST Robotics.
Click on "Upload photo."
Fill in all the information fields, browse to find your photo, and then click on "submit."
